Kitty Seats!

Dave & I have been trying to decide which of the following will be Belle's favourite "kitty seat".....

1. Bedroom - convenient for snuggles:

2. Between lounge & kitchen - convenient for sofa & fud:

3. Kitchen window - near fud:

4. Long "shelf" in kitchen - wide enough for a person to sit on and has the underfloor heating pipes running under it...... hmmmm, think we have a winner.....

Our bathroom - actually has a toilet and everything. Just need a door now....

The upstairs bathroom - we had some of the floor tiles left from the ground floor, so Clive made a pretty pattern upstairs too! Very creative!

Dave painted the tile sealant on today in the lounge and kitchen, so here is a picture without loads of building stuff in it!

We also paid a visit to IKEA again today - how quickly you can go off a shop.... and then love it again after a cheapo hotdog! Here is something I built today:

Our shower is workin! Just need the glass partition door/toilet/sink etc. Nearly there though!

Kitchen finished!!!

Visited the site today to see the handiwork of our kitchen fitter (another Dave!) and look at it! Apart from the plinths, it's all done and it's gorgeous in all it's IKEA glory...... Kudos to "Kitchen Dave" for 1. getting it done so quickly & 2. for making it look so fabulous!

Been a while!

Well, Clive and I went to collect some of the beautiful stone flooring the other week so he could lay some out for the kitchen fitter. Oh, it is so so gorgeous...... (and made right here in the Lot)

Dave's first visit to the site since his op - he was very impressed!

Interiors moving on!

Just look at our faaaaahbulous roof! Pretty impressed that Clive managed to expose so much of the beams - we kind of assumed that with 3 layers of insulation we wouldn't see as much as this. So, so pleased! Be even better when the scaffold goes :

The upstairs guest quarters - to the left is a dressing room (oh my god, yes!!!!) and the right a bathroom. There will be doors, by the way.....
